Children Miracle Network Hospitals

"More than 10 million kids enter a children’s hospital like your local children's hospital across North America every year. To provide the best care for kids, children’s hospitals rely on donations and community support, as Medicaid and insurance programs do not fully cover the cost of care. Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has helped fill those funding gaps by raising more than $5 billion, most of it $1 at a time through Miracle Balloon icon campaigns. Its various fundraising partners and programs support the nonprofit’s mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible."

Little Dresses for Africa

"The road is especially tough for little girls and young women.  Often small children are left as primary care-givers of even younger children, because of disease and poverty.  These little dresses, given freely to those in need, plant the seed that they are worthy. We plant the seeds; God sends the harvest."

You can help out by sewing these dresses and shorts for boys, donating and volunteering.

Victory Junction Camp for children with serious illnesses, always at no cost to their families

"Free from the confines of disease, illness or disability, children discover that they can just be kids! How does this happen? Victory Junction is a medically safe, yet exhilarating camp, that challenges children who have a serious medical condition to try things they never imagined possible. As they conquer activities like zip lining and archery or experience bowling, fishing or swimming, children build confidence that will shape how they view the rest of their lives. The magic happens on our lush 84 acres in the rolling hills of Randleman, North Carolina near Greensboro. Once children pass through our gates, the boundaries and limitations they live with on a daily basis disappear and they simply concentrate on having fun! That’s when they shine!"

You can help by donating money or materials, be a volunteer and if you know how sew you can  sew a bear or a blanket.
