Animal Welfare League Queensland (AWLQ)

"Animal Welfare League Queensland (AWLQ) focuses on the care and rehoming of abandoned, stray and surrendered animals in South East Queensland.  We provide affordable veterinary care through our Community Vet Clinics as well as delivering community awareness, outreach and education.  As a charity, not for profit, DGR registered organisation which receives no government funding for our welfare work, we rely solely on donations, sponsorships, bequests, grants and the support of our community."

You can help by donating, money, food, goods to be sold in the AWLQ shops, and volunteering.

Adopt-A-Pet

"Adopt-A-Pet is an all-volunteer not-for-profit animal shelter and adoption agency dedicated to saving the lives of lost, abandoned or otherwise homeless dogs, cats, puppies and kittens. We were founded in 1981, and have since saved the lives of over 15,000 animals. All Adopt-A-Pet animals remain with us for as long as it takes to find them suitable permanent new homes."

You can help in many ways, you can help by: volunteering, donating of money and items especially shredded paper, fostering or adopting, buy from affiliated sites and by using Goodsearch, which is an internet search engine.
